論入囚

令星在不同坐向星盤中，有被囚之險。令星為當時得令之星，如七運之七星或一運之一星等。入囚之理為令星原本之作用不被發揮，力量被箝制，其他凶星乘機而起，繼而眾凶剋主，獨力難支。

入囚分運星入囚，山星入囚，向星入囚三種。

運星入囚

例：巳山亥向兼七運  

八運八星(運星)到向首為運星入囚

山星入囚

例：酉山卯向兼六運

七運七星(山星)入中為山星入囚

向星入囚

例：辛山乙向六運

四運四星(向星)入中為向星入囚

運星山星各祇有一種入囚方法，而向星分別有三種。入囚時期的長短為當這元運而已，即二十年。如七運七星入囚，到八運便不囚了。當然有些情況是七運建之房屋，本身當運即囚，很不幸地到八運又再囚，如巽山乾向兼七運便是這情況了。

不同之令星入囚有不同之情況禍害，運星囚了即此房屋地運完結。山星囚了即丁口不保。而向星囚了，當然是財祿受阻了。房屋本身之外巒情況對入囚禍福有絕對的影響，有些情況嚴峻，有些影響輕微，而一般當堪察出入囚情況時，可用化囚方法化解。

千古之秘，看似不過數十字而已，但如學者能更細心研究其入囚之理，可能對宅命星盤的了解更加徹底，如我所說，或可從入囚之理，找出一條催旺之法，世事休旺循環，宅命因應元運而休息，當然會有旺極之時，對嗎？

對於其基礎學理，已全部學理用實盤公開，未閱的學者不妨參閱之。現今此世，我代祖師公開此法規，能讓懂理之人，有選擇的權利，學玄空的，不論其造詣多少，都能避去錯遷入囚樓房之苦。

我從不少勘察的個案中，領略囚盤對宅命的影響，驗証在近十年間，應可信任，入住運星入囚之陽宅，先賢說的地運完了，財丁兩敗，我驗証為之真確，其中尤以不合年青人居住。財敗最險者為向星入中入囚，真的所謂「十年資糧一朝散。」山星入囚倒不見對年青人太凶，但老年多病者會屢發舊病，山星入囚則影響年青夫婦生育運，想生育不易，然已有小孩的則小孩較難帶養。

先賢所用「囚」一字，直係無懈可擊，入住入囚之宅形同「囚禁」一樣，我所說的是運勢被囚禁。我有驗証一實案，當時人住了在一間西貢的村屋，七運丙山壬向，是局向星到向八運入囚，宅主住入八個月有感運勢是下，尤以財運更甚，宅主感灰心固決意另找新居，尋尋覓覓終在青衣某大新屋苑落腳，此時禮請我到新宅勘察，上樓前用日景量出刻度，起出星盤，當感造物弄人，原來又是入囚之盤，此刻當領略「囚禁」之意，然亦導出一道理，假若逢囚之居未作化囚，執意馬上遷離，亦是陶然，所謂運低之人何有選得旺山旺向之理。

然祇懂選擇不住入囚之宅，並不全面，要懂得「化囚」才為學者所追求。先賢所謂「逢囚不囚」，意旨化囚大法。我在課堂是有詳細地教導化囚的有效方法，因礙於傳訣有一定之限制，在此不便論之矣。

Star imprisonment

The Ruling Star is imprisoned or locked when it falls on certain Mountain Star, Facing Star or Period positions of the geomantic chart. The Ruling Star is the reigning Star for that particular Period of time. For example, the Ruling Star in Period 8 is Star 8, that in Period 9 is Star 9 and that in Period 1 is Star 1. The Ruling Star generally conveys auspiciousness. Being timely, its effect dominates over the influences from the other Stars. On the other hand, when it is imprisoned or locked, it is inactivated and loses its effect over the other Stars.

Classification of Star imprisonment

According to the position in the geomantic chart that the Star is located, the imprisonment is classified into imprisonment of the Period Star, Facing Star and Mountain Star respectively.

1.  The imprisonment of Period Star
 

A. The Star in the Period position of the Front or Facing Palace is imprisoned.

For example, in the Period 7 Substitute Star Chart of Si sitting Hai facing orientation, Star 8 being the Period Star in the Facing Palace is imprisoned. So Star 8 will lose its dominating influence for 20 years in Period 8.

B. The Facing Star in the Sitting Palace of a “Double Stars in the Front” configuration is imprisoned.
 

For example, in the Period 8 geomantic chart of Bing sitting Ren facing orientation, Star 9 being the Facing Star in the Sitting Palace is imprisoned.

2. The imprisonment of Facing Star

A . The Facing Star of the central square is imprisoned
For example, in the Period 6 geomantic chart of Xin sitting Yi facing orientation, Star 4 being the Facing Star in the central square is imprisoned.

B : The Facing Star of the Facing Palace is imprisoned.
For example, in the Period 7 geomantic chart of Sun sitting Qian facing orientation, Star 9 being the Facing Star of the Facing Palace is imprisoned.

3 .The imprisonment of Mountain Star

The Mountain Star of the central square is imprisoned.
For example, in the Period 6 Substitute Star Chart of You sitting Mao facing orientation, Star 7 being the Mountain Star of the central square is imprisoned.

There is only one type of Mountain Star imprisonment, whereas there are two types of Facing Star and Period Star imprisonment respectively. When the Star is imprisoned or locked, it loses it ability in conveying auspiciousness during its reigning period for 20 years. For example, when the Star 8 is locked, its ability in generating auspiciousness in Period 8 is lost. The lock, however, will be released in Period 9. Sometimes the reigning Stars in two consecutive Periods are imprisoned. For example, when a house was built in Period 7 and had an orientation of Sun sitting Qian facing concurrently with the neigbouring Mountains, both Star 7 and Star 8 are imprisoned.

Different imprisonments have different implication on the occupants of the house. Imprisonment of the Period Star can result in overall inauspiciousness. Imprisonment of the Mountain Star implies ill health and disharmony among people, while imprisonment of the Facing Star indicates monetary loss. The extent of involvement, however, is affected by the formation in the external environment. Very often, the imprisonment can be resolved by appropriate Feng Shui measures.
